windows7 boot problem Closed

Question

Hello, i had desktop with 1gb ram supported. Initially i use xp.. But for change i installd windows7 in another drive then directly formate xp drive... Here is the mess, while i restar it say boot disc missed insert systam disc... Plz help me.

Hi,

This problem is due to the fact you install an older version of Windows above a new version. Installing Windows XP crushed the MBR which is indispensable for Windows 7 starting up. 

You can use a boot utility like Emergency Boot CD whih allow you to restore the MBR. Here is the link:
