HI, I have a thumbdrive that I have music on. I have used this TD on all my home PC's. I took some plans into the printers and had them scanned and put on my TD. When I got home the warning says Would you like to format? No of course, but would anyone know how to repair this? Should I take it back to printers PC? I had a memory disk from a camera do the same thing after plugging into an HP.

Thank you
Don

Hello,

Try this 1

If the "File System" is RAW, then may be partition got damaged or corrupted.

If you want to recover the data from it then follow the below instructions

Click on the below link and download the application

http://www.powerdatarecovery.com/download/pdr6free.exe

Connect your thumb drive and launch the application.

After launching the application, check the check box "I am a home user, please

launch MiniTool Power Data Recovery Free Edition" and then click on "Launch

Power Data Free Edition" button.

To recover data from the RAW partition, select the option "Damaged Partition

Recovery" and follow the instructions. It will recover the data from the damaged

partition.

After recovering your data, format your thumb drive from the disk management.

Click on Start --> In search box, type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter.

"Disk Management" will be opened. Right-click on your thumb drive -->

Select the option "format" --> Make sure you have "File system" as Fat32 and

format your thumb drive.

Good Luck
