Windows xp installation problem

Hello,

In my pc i install win xp
boot by cd, it will detecting my pc and hardware, select the partition and format the partition and setup files copied later it was restart and then cannot continue the installation. Repeated from starting stage?
What to do? please help to rectify my problem

What exact error message do you get?

First off, I suspect a bad hard drive. But, you have not given me anything to aid in the diagnosis.
