No signal message on computer monitor

Hello,
I am having a problem with my computer. I get a NO SIGNAL message on monitor when i turn it on.the computer turns on and the lights are green, but when i turn the monitor on it is black with a no signal message. I have tried everything, I have changed cables, i have tried a different monitor, i have tried moving computer and using a different outlet, i have even tryied a different computer on my monitor, i have also unplugged it and held power button and nothing has fixed it. Can someone PLEASE help?

Did the monitor work when you tried it on a different computer? If not then you have a problem with the monitor. It's probably cheaper to buy a replacement monitor than try to get it fixed.
