Sony vaio making beeping noise on start up

Hello, I have an old sony vaio pcg 7m1m running windows xp and I have managed to back up all my data and want to do a factory restore, but don't have any discs. I have tried pressing alt + f10 on start up and nothing happened so I turned the machine off and when I tried to start it up all I get is the first vaio screen and a continuous beeping sound. Can any one help me at all, please, thanks Littlebarf

normally a continuous beep signals a keyboard problem. One of the keys could be stuck in the down position. Check to see if one of the key caps looks bent or "different".
