HP Pavilion dv5-1213EM Blank screen, Help?

Hello,

I have the HP Pavilion dv5-1213EM, after downloading the previous night a shutdown my laptop, only to try and turn on the laptop the screen doesnt light up, the CAPS Lock light is flashing similtaniously with the scroll nm lock light, the laptop remains like this aslong as I leave it, shows no sign of starting up to any normality.
Ive tried taking the battery park out, charging it, pressing the power but for so many seconds nothing has worked... help please..

swap around memory
buy new memory
heat memory compartment with the cover off for about 2min with hair dryer on high
i have solved this problem with hair dryer trick, but it will come back.
new ram has solved the problem, 6mths trouble free

didnt really help much...... still not working ??? I think its the motherboard worth replacing it
