Ms excel file recovery

hello,
i have different types of files in my pen drive. out them it was one ms excel file also. yesterday i use my pen drive in other PC in which my drive was infected with virus. after that today i use it in my PC, but my PC has legal version of antivirus software, so it was scanned and drive was disinfected but my excel file was lost. plz help me how can recover this file. this file i was excess regular and modify it.

Hello,
Try this 1
Check if the file is not in hidden mode.
Click on Start --> Run --> Type control folders and press Enter.
"Folder Options" will be opened. Now click on "View" tab.
Select the option "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck the check box
"Hide protected operating system files" --> Click on OK.
Later undo the changes by going to Folder options --> "View" tab --> Click on
"Restore Defaults" --> Click on OK.
