Laptop does not boot

Hello, the HP G71-358NR doesn't start up. when I push the start button, the 3 lights at the left bottom of the keyboard flash 3 times. If I change the powercord with my dell laptop, the 3 lights stay lit, but nothing else happens.
I have removed and reinstalled the battery, but still it will not turn on.
please help

Hello,

Try this 1

Remove the USB cable.

Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for 60

seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and later

put the battery back into the laptop.
