I have a HP Pavilion laptop. When the battery bar shows about 25% of battery left, it will suddenly shut down. After plugging in the power line, it will boot up again, but with improper shutdown messages. Initially when the battery life ended, the shutdown would be smooth, with no error messages on reboot. Does this mean I need a new battery? I have Windows Vista
