MASSIVE issue with router

Hello, ive been having this issue for about 5 hours now, and my problem is that i am running two computers off of a wr850g motorola router and the one closest to it will not connect to the internet although it says it has connection, and the second comp connects perfectly, what could be causing this? how do i fix this please?

also, both comps are hardlined to the router, nothing is wireless

Hi,

Have you tried another cable or swapping the cables?please revert back for further help.

ive tried quite literally everything switching cables, changing cables power cycling full power cycling , even input the ip address manually along with the subnet mask gate way and dns servers

enter command line and ping 127.0.0.1
