Hello,
i was deleting partitions off my western digital my book 1tb. i went one too far and deleted all partitions and now it is not recognized by my computer in any way except as a mass storage device when plugged in. ive tried everything short of paying a tech or replacing the drive. any ideas on how to recover this so it can be used again?

I suggest you try Easeus Partition Manager - it's free and work well on Windows XP. You can download it here:

Just be sure you have the identified correct hard drive - you don't want to reformat your C drive!
