Sony Vaio Laptop wont start Closed

Question

Hello, 

i was wondering if anyone can please help me with my situation. I have attempted to turn my laptop on and all the happens is the Vaio screen comes up for a second, the the screen goes black but lit up, then two white lines flash in the top left. This is the furthest i have got in my many attempts to start up. Does anyone have any idea whats wrong?

Hi, 

Try this: 

Go to the BIOS --> Make sure hard disk is detected in the BIOS -- > Set your first boot device as "Hard disk" --> Save the settings and exit from the BIOS.
