Cpu blinking lights

Hello,
i have a problem with my hp dv7-1135nr laptop, when i power on the laptop it powers up but it does not boot. it sounds like it stops working and the caps lock light and the num lock light blinks once at intervals. i know that it is a cpu error so i have changed the cpu, when i have put it all back togeter and tryed to power it up again the same thing happens, the two blinking lights and a black screen.

can anyone please help me with this problem or have any thought on what could be wrong and a solution on how it can be fixed would be much appreciated..
