HELP...laptop won't power on Closed

Question

My Toshiba laptops battery died last night, I've been trying to charge it but when I plug the chager in the charge light will not come on.  If you press the power button  the battery light flashes red a few times but it will not come on.  Please help me...it is barley a year old I really don't want to have to buy another one :-(



Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello, 

Try this 1 

Remove the USB cable. 

Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for 60 

seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and later 

put the battery back into the laptop.
