Burned dvd-r won't play on my dvd player

Hello,

I burned a DVD-R using windows media player, but it won't play on my dvd player or any other, what did I do wrong?...It plays fantastic in the lap top that I created it.

Hi,

Dvd contains what?music?clips?What are the format of written data?
