USB Pend drive

Hello,
My Apacer 8 GB Pend drive.
When i connect the pend drive in usb port then show usb recognize. if i see the device manager there show unknown device only the compaq presarion v6314EA Notbook. But Other PC no Problem.
My OS is XP sp2
Please ask me how to solve the problem

Hello,
Check first if your penrive is detected by your BIOS.
If it is the case, try this:
Click on Start --> Run ---> type diskmgmt.msc and click on OK.
Right-click on your Penrive --> Select "Change Drive Letter and Paths..." --->
Click on "Add" button ---> Select a drive letter different of C: and click on OK.
Note : If the drive letter is already assigned, then try changing the drive letter
by clicking on "Change" button instead of "Add" button in the above step.
