Black screen with cursor @ windows 7 start
Solved/Closed
Hello,
Here's a tough one for you.
A black screen with cursor appears when I start my computer.
Nothing is responding, I can't do ctrl alt del or enter "explorer" in any of the modes. I have no usb devices plugged in, and I tried unplugging my computer too.
I strongly suspect regcure to be the source of the trouble.
Thank you for you help.

System restore was the best option but as you dont have one,try this
Did you face this issue after installing reg cure? It may have removed some registry entries, did you try to boot into
LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION ?
if that doesnt work try this, boot into safemode
go to RUN and type
msconfig and click ok
change startup type to selective
uncheck ''Load startup items''
Go to service tab-check mark ''hide microsoft services'' and then click on ''disable all''
Reboot now

Hello,
Try this:
1) When you switch ON your computer, start tapping the "F8" key to get
"Windows Advanced Options"( if boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and keep
tapping the F8 key)
2) Select "Safe Mode"
3) Go to Control Panel -> Backup and Restore -> Recover system settings or your computer -> Open System Restore -> follow the wizard to restore the system to the state before the issue occurred
Regards!
