USB External HDD Problem Closed

Question

Hii Friends. I have a Toshiba MK3259GSX USB Device ( External HDD), When I connect the Device Into the PC ( WIn XP)  , Its detected and found new hardware and Install the driver, and shown ( The new hardware is installed and ready to use ) , But after that when i Open the My Computer window, Noting to see. ( Not display any drive and disk Name) and The Same Disk management also not display any Information in The Computer Management windows.

So plz any body can help me,,How to recovery the data from the Disk.

Unplug your USB HDD ,restart the PC and then plug in

See if that works.

Does it get detected on any other computer?

If no then possibly a hardware issue
