Shortcuts gone

Hello,

I have the same problem as a previous questioner. My Word icon shortcut from my desktop as well as my quicklaunch tray disappeared. I didn't think that would be a problem, until I tried to open Microsoft Office from my Programs list. Microsoft Office applications are no longer on my Programs list. Only saved documents are still accessible.
