ASUS laptop sound buttons not working Solved/Closed

Question

Hi, the sound buttons on my ASUS N53 series N53SV are not working. the buttons are not on the keyboard but are above it in a row and none of them work anymore. they were working a few days ago and I have no idea why they aren't anymore.

i've tried other solutions on this forum but nothing has worked.

What other solutions did you try?

Download and install this driver

http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ATKPackage_Win7_64_z100008.zip

Restart and see if it works
