Laptop Gateway

Hello;
I have a laptop Gateway , my son shut the computer just pushing the on button and now when I try to star my computer she will show me a message wich it say that my computer wasn't shut off propertly and and take me back to that message over and over again , what can I do, please?

If you cannot boot into safemode then you may need a OS CD to repair it
