HELP! my screen is blank

I have the inspiron DELL 14in and all of a sudden the screen went blank, i can turn it on and the screen will show but after like 10 seconds it goes off, just the screen the computer is still running cause it sounds, and when i plug it in to the tv i can se the screen but i already checked if it is because is only on projector but that is not the problem and i already went to geek squad and they didn't know what was happening, THANKYOU

You problem may be from a failing "backlight" or the "inverter" that supplies power to the backlight.

A good repair shop that specializes in laptops will be able to diagnose and repair the laptop. This is NOT a job for DIY repair on the kitchen table.
