Laptop problem

Hello,
My laptop is not working properly the problem bieng it blacks out in the middle of nowhere with the laptop still and the lights on the buttons are on to,but nothing changes if you press them and most of the time it happens right at the beggining . Any sujjestion on what i should do. (Ive tried holding the power button whilst the battery is removed) i would be grateful on any advice thank you.
