Cant connect dell laptop to wireless router..Closed

Question

Hello, 

My wife has a Dell studio laptop running on vista which can see the wireless network but when i click to connect to it it ask for a user id and password?

My Vaio connects fine and i am unsure as to why this wont even ask for the security password ?

Try this

Click on start button and type

Manage wireless networks and press enter

Delete the profile and try to connect

No it didn't work it keeps asking for additional security information

Reset your router and reconfigure it and try to connect
