Hi guys, when i start my laptop it goes straight to a black screen with white writing with two options of start windows normally and launch startup repair (recommended). I have clicked on this and tried every option and had no luck. If i start windows normally then the blue screen of death comes up and restarts itself.
Note that safe mode is not an option for me as ive looked at many forums already and all i hear is safe mode
If anyone can help it would be much appreiciated thanks.

Scott,

Usually with a blue screen you get a bunch of codes beginning with 0X (not meaning hug and kiss).

What is your operating system?

Sometimes the codes can tell about the origin of the problem.

Dear Scott,

The code 0x00000024 is dû to a hardware problem which should be checked by a qualified technician. More precisely, the NTFS file manager. There is a failure in the IDE controler a faulty disk or cable.
