No songs can be put into ipod

Hello,
Iv'e put songs in my ipod nano from my bros computer then i charged it on my friends computer with the usb wire. It put song automaticly and i wanted songs put on to the ipod it did not work for some reason.So i deside to erase the albums.I try to put music and it did not go throw please help me fix this problem.

hi,
check if the cable is well connected to the iPod.
it may also be that the problem which occured has damaged the iPod.
try to format it to see if this works.
