My number bar wont work

Hello,

when i try to click on a number on the number bar at the top of the keyboard it doesn't type in numbers it types or copies whatever i did before that. it has been doing this ever since i left for my friends house and it wont even let me type the symbols on the numbers either.
PLEASE HELP
