Laptop keyboard

Hello,

I have a laptop,OS windows XP. When i type in letter "k" number "2" appears :( This happens when i try to login into the laptop while entering my username and password

can someone please help me with this.

Laptop keyboards eventually break and can produce weird results. Sometimes an external USB keyboard will work until you can find a replacement keyboard.
