Pdf file convewrsion

I am having a similar problem to the one I have copied into the e mail below.
It seems all of my adobe acrobat files have been converted word documents. I believe I amy have clicked in some kind of default. Is there any way I can revert back?


Hello,
I can't figure out why my pdf's always open up in word not adobe??
Does anyone have a quick answer?

You probably changed the "file association" for the ".pdf" files. This web page shows you how to fix it.

Thanks, but it appears I'm still having trouble.

Where it ask me to select a file type to change the program. I'm not sure which file type to select.
I don't see pdf listed.
