Hello, I have an HP dv2000 laptop 1 year old. I downloaded new updates that HP suggested for bios and when I tried to restart, the computer does nothing. The hard drive spins up and then goes quiet, I have tried holding down all the normal keys durning start with no different results. I think the bios is corrupted! Is there a fix. Where can I look next?
Thanks for your support

hi,
Every once in a while the FLASH EEPROM that stores the BIOS will fail during a BIOS upgrade.
This sounds like what happened in your case.
You can try to Boot with the flash diskette, holding the Esc key.
this may solve your problem.
