Compaq cq60 motherboard problem

compaq cq60 cmos battery reset motherboard on again cmos battery put motherboard not working.

mother board with out cmos battery good working,
when cmos battery again conect motherboard, motherboard not working (same dead condition).
plz
send me solution.

Have you checked battery voltage? Replace it with tested good battery and see if it makes a difference.
