Hello,

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FW41M/H laptop, which is around 3 years old. I was having issues running some of the software I use with only 4Gb of RAM & Vista 32 bit (effectively only using 3GB RAM).

Hence I have upgraded to 8Gb RAM and purchased/Installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

However, since this upgrade the scroll feature of the mouse pad has stopped working, which is really annoying. I've searched the Sony sites for mouse/pointer drivers, but not managed to find any.

I've looked on the support page for my Vaio model and installed/run the latest version of Vaio Update, but this hasn't helped.

A few people seem to have had the same problem, but none of their solutions seem to work for me (mainly because I can't find a driver). I was hoping somebody could help before I have to pay to phone Sony support.

Thanks

As a first step, try to find the drivers through Windows Update.

Step 1: Try performing Windows Update to check for the availability of the drivers.
