Hi,

Press on F8 during boot to get access in safe mode.Once logged right click on my computer>properties>advanced tab>startup & recovery>settings>uncheck automatically restart. Then restart system. make a backup of important stuff purchase a new cd rom drive and make system repair or formatting if required in future.

Good luck

If safe mode does not work, again try booting pressing F8, but instead of booting into safe mode choose Disable automatic restart on system failure. You should get a blue screen. On the top you should have an error code, for example 0x0000007b. Copy that down and maybe try to look it up, or you could always post it back here!

Hello imPATT,

Can you please explain this line ''but instead of booting into safe mode choose Disable automatic restart on system failure. '' First of all system is in restart mode so how can user disable automatic restart on system failure without booting in safe mode?
