Need help with active partition recovery.

Hello,

Can someone shine some light on how to recover data from an external hard drive using Active Partition Recovery software?

I have loaded the software and super scanned the drive, I'm able to see all the files and the Hard drive is labled as exelent but i still cant access my files or copy them to another drive.

Is someone familiar with such process?
