Hello,

So I have this other laptop, I used it for years and then one day it just went bananas.

It has Windows XP, it's a compaq nc4200 [oldie but goodie].
If i turn it on it starts normally, it gets to the desktop and stays there, if I try to open any programs, folders or such, it freezes and it can stay that way for hours.

any ideas?
