What's the exact reference of the laptop (A305-XXXXX) ? Depending on the model, the laptop comes with recovery disc on the hard drive or not.

the procedure should be this one :
- Power off the computer
- Hold the zero key (0) down and turn laptop on
- Keep holding it, until the Toshiba logo is appearing and then hit repeatedly the 0 key
- A screen should show the flashing message ** HDD RECOVERY MODE **
- then the recovery program will run from the hard drive.
If it doesn't, there is may be no recovery image on the hard drive and you should order one.
