Hello, we bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop and it worked fine for about 2 months. After that period the screen stayed black and there was no more display. We sent it to Toshiba for repair but the computer worked just fine when they received it so they shipped it back. When we received it it worked well too, but only for 2 or 3 days. After that we just left it there trying to find a solution. After 3 or 4 days I tried to turn it back on, and it worked but only for 2 days! I've read a lot of answers given to people whose laptop screen didn't display anything. I've tried taken out the battery, unplugging the computer, pressing on the On-Off switch for 60 seconds. What's up with that?
There must still be warranty on it and I will not advise you to worry about it, send it back again for repair. There should be something messing in there because no one would have accepted to buy a new laptop which stops working only after two months' time.
