Dell laptop Internal HDD Hard error

Hello, my laptop has an error that says Internal HDD Hard error.......not sure what happen but this is all that it does. cant get it to do anything and dont have any idea what happened to it. Can anybody help. Thanks

Help? Not really - you probably need to replace the hard drive.

Probably cheaper to replace the whole computer right ?

It depends on the age of the computer and if you have a Windows CD that you can use to install the OS. Shouldn't cost over $100 for you to do it yourself. A new cheap computer will probably out perform a old expensive one and will have Windows 7.
