Hello,
There could be a number of problems maybe its your monitor itself having a power problem, could be the cable that is plugged to the computer, it could even be that you fried your graphics card and therefore no display available. try plugging it to another computer if it works on the other computer maybe its the graphics card inside the comuter. Had a similar situation where my graphics card fried had to buy a new one and the monitor worked after installing the new one.
