Hello,
I just setup my new desktop but when I turn it on, monitor is showing that there is no signal? How do I fix it quick and easy? Please and thank you.

Dear Tendue in Toronto,
Congratulation on your new acquisition? What is your new desktop?
Did you have a signal before or is this the first time you connect the machine to this screen?
Assuming that you have Windows for an operating system, do you hear the jingle?
Are the CPU and fan running ?
For some models, the monitor must be turned on after or before the cpu.
Make sure the cable is connected correctly, sometimes the pins which are screwed behing the CPU get loosen.
If the fans are running, try connecting to another monitor. (You must have a spare one in a closet or basement somewhere, everybody does.)
I am trying to eliminate any video card failure.
Regards
