Hello,


I'm having some major trouble with my Dell Inspiron 1545. I had a virus and had to do a reboot and reloaded the discs that come with my computer. I had everything working but the WiFi and I called myself trying to figure it out and now all it does is sounds like the cooling fan is running and the light is flashing like the battery is dead. Don't know what I did but any help would be much appreciated

Hi erikruggiero,

Try the below mentioned steps and reply with the results:

1. Remove the battery and AC Adapter from the computer.
2. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and then release
3. Put the battery and AC Adapter back.
4. Press the Power Button and Check LED indicator.
5. Check if power button is Amber / Orange (Steady or Blinking), But No video.
6. Check if you hear any beeps.
7. Press and hold the Fn key and then press the Power Button and check if you hear any beeps or any video on screen.
