Hi lilsammy,
Thank you for providing your computer model number. Try the below mentioned steps and check if the keyboard/mouse starts to work:
1. Power off the computer.
2. Remove any power sources and external devices such as, a printer or a pen drive from the computer.
3. Press and hold the power button 10-15 seconds and then release.
4. Reconnect only the power connections and monitor.
5. Connect the keyboard and mouse and check if they work.
