Hello,

Try this 1

If you look at the OS line from the information given by you, its compatible with

the Windows 7. May be its still in development. But in some case installing the

drivers in the compatibility mode, it works.

Download the drivers from the manufacture's website for Windows XP and

follow the instructions given in the below link. Most of the steps are same.

Thank so much indeed for your reply
When I connect my Curitel mobile phone to a USB port in my laptop computer via a cable, I notice that windows 7 detect the device as 'Curitel communication inc' under the category 'other device' as you see in the device manager in picture below which I have captured quickly while 'Curitel communication inc' is shown. However, 'Curitel communication inc' is disappeared after a moment. And this happens whenever I disconnect and reconnect my Curitel phone via a USB port. Even I believed that the USB port has been damaged, but when I connect a Flash Drive, I found out that USB is OK.
I am quite surprised about why device shows for a moment and then disappears. And this repeats while disconnecting and reconnecting my Curitle mobile. This never happened while doing this with a desktop computer of mine.
Is my curitle mobile not discoverable? If so, then why it is shown for a moment with an exclamation mark and then disappears

also, I have opened the CD which came with the cable which is used to connect my Curitel phone to my computer. Then, I open the folder 'USB driver' . After that, I have clicked 'right click' on the setup program. Next, I have chosen 'Troubleshoot compatibilty'. Finally, I have followed the rest of steps mentioned the tutorial.
But I have found this error below when clicked on the 'start program'

A yellow exclamation mark is the indication that the drivers are not compatible or having an issue with the drivers. Since your pen drive is able to get detected I don't think there is a problem with your USB port. Connect your device, click on Start --> In search bar, type devmgmt.msc and press "Enter". "Device Manager" will be opened.
Click on "Action" --> Scan for hardware changes.
[Note: If "Scan for hardware" changes is missing then click on the white area in the device manager and then follow the instruction.]
Check if its able to detect now.
Also let me know the error message you are getting while trying to install the drivers in compatible mode.

YOU DIDN'T REPLY ME WHY 'Curitel communication inc' shows FOR A MOMENT, AND THEN DISAPPEARS.THIS HAPPENS while disconnecting and reconnecting my Curitle mobile. EVEN I COULD CAPTURE THE PICTURE TO SHOW YOU THE THE exclamation mark WHICH IS BEFORE THE DEVICE.

I DIDN'T FIND 'SCAN FOR HARDWARE' CHANGES IN THE 'ACTION' MENU.
ALSO, WHEN I HAVE TRIED CLICKING ON THE WHITE ARE IN THE DEVICE MANAGER, I FOUND NOTHING BECAUSE YOU SAID THAT I SHOULD DO THIS WHILE THE exclamation mark IS SHOWN IN FRONT THE DEVICE' 'Curitel communication inc'. BUT AS I SAID THAT THE ' 'Curitel communication inc' SHOWS FOR A MOMENT AND DISAPPEARS EVEN I COULD DIFFICULTY CAPTURE THE PICTURE TO SHOW YOU THE exclamation mark WHICH IS IN FRONT THE DEVICE WHILE CONNECTED TO MY LAPTOP.

NB:I THINK THAT 'Curitel communication inc' WITH THE exclamation mark IN FRONT OF IT SHOULD BE STILL SHOWN SO THAT I CAN KNOW THAT THE MY MOBILE IS RECOGNIZED BY THE WINDOWS 7. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHILE CONNECTING MY PHONE WITH WINDOWS XP SP2.
WHAT I KNOW IN WINDOWS XP THAT WHEN A DEVICE IS RECOGNIZED(DISCOVERABLE), IT SHOULD BE SHONE IN THE DEVICE MANAGER WITH AN exclamation mark. THEN, WHEN I INSTALL THE drivers OF DEVICE, THE exclamation mark DISAPPEARS. IN OTHER TIMES, WINDOWS XP AUTOMATICALLY FINDS THE DRIVERS OF DEVICE ONCE IT IS CONNECTED

I noticed while MOVING THE HEAD OF the cable connecting my curitel phone to my laptop, I found that 'Curitel communication

Hello,
Try this 1
Sorry for the late reply.
The device will disappear sometimes if there is USB power management issue or because of the bad usb data cable.
The exclamation mark is the indication that drivers are not installed properly. It is also the indication of system resource conflict. When the exclamation mark appears --> Right-click on it --> Select properties. Let me know the device status message.
You can find more information about it in the below hyperlink "Device Manager".
Device Manager
First try updating all your drivers. Mainly the chipset and the USB and then try to connect to it.
Click on Start --> In search box, type cmd and press Enter.
"Command Prompt" will be opened.
Now enter the below commands
set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 --> Press Enter
start devmgmt.msc --> Press Enter
"Device Manager" window will be opened. Now in the device manager, click on "View" --> Select "Show hidden devices" Now expand all the nodes by clicking on "+" symbol. If you find any greyed
entries --> Right click on it --> Select "Uninstall".
Restart your PC --> Now try connecting it
[Note : Typing in all caps is considered as yelling.]
Good Luck

Thank you so much
This is with me laptop only:
But according to what you siad above, I don't think there is an error with USB, otherwise I will face this issu with any usb devices, such as Flashdrive or external hard disk. I Only see that exclamation mark is shown for a moment when I connect the curitel mobile to USB immediately, then exclamation mark became unshown.
As said before, the period of showing the exclamation mark didn't let me to even click on the exclamation mark because the period is too short.

However, with my desktop, I sometimes faced that exclamation mark is shown and didn't disappear at all.

However, in the other times, I see that an unknown device is shown under the catagory "USB' contrloller in the manager . and Windows xp tells me that there is a unknown usb device
