Need help with my laptop

Hello,

I have a HP Presario F700 and it wont stay on. When i push the button to turn it on, it lights up and you can hear the fan start, then it immediately shuts off and then just on and off again continually. Ive tried several things but cant get it to stay on. Any ideas on what i can try next.

This sounds like a motherboard problem. You will probably need to replace the laptop, Since, it will cost more to repair than to replace.
