No signal on monitor

Hello, was watching some movies on my computer last night then i got tierd and turned the computer off, now the monitor says "no signal" iv tried with a different monitor but that says "monitor in sleeping mod turn on the connected computer" i hear the windows sound an all the fans are on ALL other lights that should be on are on but the freaking monitor wont work... can someone help me? and please explain like you would to your nother or something like that coz im a total noob at these things.. thanx //Zlakern

Hello,

Try this 1

If you notice that your CPU fan is running but there is no display in the screen,

then remove the RAM from the slot, clean it and place it back properly or try

another slot. Check your RAM also. Even bad RAM will result in display problem.

If you have no idea about RAM, then click on the below links,

Removing a RAM

If you are using a graphic card, then remove it and place it back properly.
