Have local but no internet access

Good Afternoon,
I have a laptop that is connected to a D-Link router, but I only have local but no internet access, unless I use a hardwire connection. I set up two other laptops, a Kindle Fire and two smart phones, and there is no problem with internet access with these other devices. Please help.

The make and model of the problem laptop and the Windows OS would give us more information.

Does the problem laptop connect to other wireless routers?

You might try deleting the wireless hardware from Windows and then letting it reinstall a new copy after a restart.
