Can someone advise me how to conquer this sudden difficulty?
Emails arrive, I can read them, but when I click "Reply" nothing happens. Why?

This is usually a temporary glitch that can sometimes be solved by changing to the other email format. You can then go back and check it occasionally to see if it has corrected itself.
In All New Mail click on OPTIONS and then click on MAIL CLASSIC
In Mail Classic click on ALL NEW MAIL at the top of your email page.
