Laptop problem. Please help.

Weeks ago I had a problem with laptop screen inverter, so I decided to buy a new inverter and changed it, but while changing I forgot to remove the battery. When finished my work I tried to turn on the laptop, but it did not respond. Even the lights wont turn on when I plug the charger. Please help to solve this problem.

unplugged the main, remove battery. hold and press power button for 30 seconds.

Plug in the main without battery installed. Switch the power button to see if the laptop is booted.

Then shut the laptop down , unplugged the main then install battery. Press the power button to see if it is on again
