I think if you don't know anything about programming, you need to start from basics of programming. For that, I suggest you to learn C language. It's the base of programming. If you learn this language properly, You can learn all other high level languages like C++, Java etc very easily. To learn C language, you can refer the book "Let Us C" and you can find some more study material regarding to C language online too.
