I have a 1T external WD hard drive that I have not used in a while, and now its barely functions. I connected the device, and it does not show on "My computer", but it installs the drivers, and it shows up on my disk management. There is no weird sound coming, and the cable seems to be in right conditions.

On disk management "Volume list" it shows up like 3 disk, and on disk list as one ("Disk 1").
"Partition Style" is GPT, and "File System" is blank

Is GPT vs Win7 the reason i cant read it? I used to have a Mac and maybe my dirty pass is hunting me.

Is there a way to solve it from Windows 7, or do I have to get a Mac copy files, format, copy files back to be able to use it? Is this even the answer?

Possible solutions were:

Problem: Step 4 the option to "Change Drive Letter " is not available.
Only options are delete, and properties.

Did not work.

I seen a possible solution to change cable to a shorter one, but I have not found one with the right dimensions atm.
